Public Relations Manager

Role Overview

Sunda International is seeking a seasoned Public Relations Manager to lead communication efforts, strengthen stakeholder relationships, and support the company’s reputation and growth in Mwanza Region, Tanzania.

What You’ll Do

• Create and implement broad PR and communication plans that align with business goals.
• Maintain productive working relationships with government bodies, media outlets, clients, and other important stakeholders.
• Take ownership of licensing, permit coordination, and related regulatory compliance responsibilities.
• Direct crisis communications and respond to public emergencies with professionalism and composure.
• Work closely with internal teams so messaging, brand voice, and public positioning stay consistent.
• Gather market intelligence and turn it into useful input for strategic decision-making.
• Contribute communication support for upcoming civil construction and business development initiatives.
• Manage PR operations, campaign delivery, and the performance of the team.

What We’re Looking For

• A bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a similar discipline.
• At least 7 years of experience in public relations, corporate communications, or public affairs.
• Proven ability to work with government stakeholders and manage external relationships.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and crisis response skills.
• Strong leadership qualities with strategic and forward-thinking judgment.
• Background in corporate, FMCG, or infrastructure environments will be considered a plus.

This is a full-time on-site role based in Mwanza Region, Tanzania.
