Role overview
The Project Manager for Virtual Care and Digital Health (VCDH) oversees projects focused on rolling out and launching virtual care services across enterprise, regional, and partner customer sites, along with internal VCDH initiatives. The role spans the full project lifecycle and requires close coordination with sponsors, site leaders, and cross-functional teams such as service line leadership, clinical operations, application analysts, licensing and credentialing, account management, nursing leadership, and other operational groups supporting VCDH.
This position calls for strong stakeholder management across different business units and matrixed environments. Success in the role depends on clear communication, accountability, and the ability to guide teams toward project milestones on schedule.
Key responsibilities
- Lead projects from initiation through completion for virtual care and digital health implementations.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to support successful launches at customer sites.
- Work closely with sponsors, leaders, and operational partners across multiple functions.
- Manage communication and collaboration in complex, multi-disciplinary, matrixed settings.
- Keep projects on track against timelines, goals, and delivery expectations.
Required qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent mix of education and professional experience.
- Formal training in project management, change management, and process improvement methods such as PMP/PMI, Agile, CAP, Workout, Six Sigma, LEAN, or CQIA.
- At least 3 years of experience managing projects and/or programs.
- At least 2 years of demonstrated success delivering projects with strong customer satisfaction, solid communication, and careful attention to detail.
- At least 2 years of experience presenting to and facilitating discussions with executive-level audiences.
Preferred qualifications
- PMP certification at the time of hiring is preferred.
- 2 years of healthcare industry experience is preferred.
- 1 year of telehealth experience is preferred.
- Comfort and fluency with Microsoft Office Suite tools is preferred.

The posted base pay range varies by location, with an overall range of $41.81 to $64.91 per hour. Location-specific ranges listed in the source include the following:

- California: Humboldt — $40.98 to $64.88 per hour
