Job Overview
This position is accountable for managing comprehensive finance operations to ensure robust financial oversight, compliance, and alignment with company strategies. Key duties encompass managing cash flow, liquidity, credit risk, costing precision, fixed asset management, and daily sales outstanding, while leading enhancements especially in accounts payable and payment processes.
Key Duties
- Supervise daily finance activities to align with company goals, policies, and budgets
- Ensure achievement of daily sales outstanding targets
- Conduct credit risk assessments on customers
- Maintain adherence to financial policies and procedures throughout operations
- Drive optimization initiatives for financial processes focusing on accounts payable and payments
- Manage cash flow to maintain sufficient liquidity for operations while mitigating financial and interest-related risks
- Oversee costing to guarantee report accuracy, clear cost discrepancies efficiently, and analyze unusual contribution margins
- Collaborate with other departments to formulate financial strategies aligned with overall business objectives
- Identify and mitigate financial risks linked to operational activities
- Maintain fixed asset register and ensure capital expenditures receive proper approval
- Lead development, monitoring, and management of annual budgets consistent with business targets
- Track expenditures against approved budgets, with detailed scrutiny of project and CAPEX costs and variance analysis
- Prepare monthly financial statements including forecasts and variance comparisons between actual and budgeted results
- Review and submit quarterly VAT returns ensuring regulatory compliance
- Oversee annual tax compliance, ensuring timely and accurate submissions per ZATCA regulations
- Serve as liaison with external auditors, tax consultants, and banking institutions
- Manage other finance-related ad hoc projects as assigned
Qualifications and Skills
- At least 5 years of experience in finance or accounting, including minimum 3 years in operational finance roles
- Proven leadership of teams comprising minimum of 5 members
- Preferably skilled in SAP and advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities
- Solid understanding of financial controls, regulatory compliance, and risk management
- Strong analytical reasoning, problem-solving aptitude, and communication proficiency
- Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse departments
- Hands-on leadership style, coaching and guiding team members by example
- Capability to manage competing priorities and deliver results within deadlines
Educational Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration
