About the role
Scandlines Deutschland is hiring a full-time, permanent cook for the FS Berlin in Rostock. The position is based onboard in a maritime setting, offering a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working with people and being close to the water.

Responsibilities
- Prepare meals onboard in an efficient and cost-conscious manner
- Provide professional guidance to service staff, kitchen assistants, and dishwashing staff
- Place product and stock orders according to the prescribed guidelines
Requirements
- Completed vocational training as a cook
- Previous experience in gastronomy is an advantage
- Strong awareness of costs and the ability to work independently
- Good teamwork skills
- Good English skills or knowledge of a Scandinavian language is an added benefit

The role is permanent and based onboard the FS Berlin in Rostock. The working pattern follows a structured roster with five working days per week.
