About the Role

Join BAT as a Junior HR Business Partner (Industrial Relations & Operations) at our Jhelum, Punjab facility. Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee end-to-end talent management initiatives, such as performance appraisals, succession planning, learning programs, manpower planning, and employee relations.
  • Spearhead the execution and follow-up for employee engagement and organisational health surveys, ensuring effective implementation of action items.
  • Consult with business leaders to advise on HR best practices and drive strategies that enhance organizational capability.
  • Support the Industrial Relations Manager with labour law compliance, grievance handling, and fostering a collaborative relationship between management and staff.
  • Maintain and update employee information within SuccessFactors or similar ERP platforms, generating analytics and HR reports as needed.
  • Partner with regional HR colleagues on talent reviews, cross-functional transfers, and staff development projects.
  • Assist in HR budget management and ensure adherence to internal policies and legal standards.

Candidate Profile

  • Minimum 2-3 years’ professional experience in HR business partnering, talent management, or industrial relations within a manufacturing context is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline required.
  • Demonstrated familiarity with HR data management and reporting, especially using SuccessFactors or similar ERP solutions, along with advanced MS Office proficiency.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills; able to manage independent tasks and administration efficiently.
  • A proactive, responsible approach with strong teamwork and people skills.
  • Understanding of local employment regulations is advantageous.
  • Willingness to relocate to Jhelum as needed.
