OpenMind’s Bangalore office seeks driven professionals eager to thrive in a competitive landscape.

Role Overview

This HR Manager role is central to shaping strategic HR initiatives and executing processes that support the company’s objectives. The position involves comprehensive responsibilities across HR management, talent acquisition, employee engagement, and office administration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and policies, covering recruitment, compensation, training, and other key areas, ensuring alignment with organizational direction.
  • Oversee all HR functions: recruitment and selection, handling disciplinary matters, fostering employee relations, managing compensation and benefits, contracts, performance evaluations, talent management, and succession planning.
  • Track and report on HR metrics, identifying areas of improvement, and documenting achievements as per scheduled deliverables.
  • Work closely with department leaders to understand their HR needs and keep them updated on broader HR initiatives.
  • Administer long service awards and ensure timely employee recognition.
  • Organize internal engagement events to enhance workplace culture.

Talent Acquisition

  • Lead the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, candidate sourcing, screening, interviews, and selection.
  • Build and maintain a pool of qualified talent for immediate and future needs.
  • Guarantee smooth onboarding and induction of new employees.

Office Administration & Facility Management

  • Update and maintain accurate employee records and internal systems.
  • Review, update, and ensure adherence to company policies and legal compliance.
  • Manage facility needs, ensuring premises comply with health and safety regulations.
  • Administer contracts with vendors for essential services like security, cleaning, catering, and technology.

Working Hours & Additional Information

  • Standard hours: Monday to Friday, 4:00 PM to 1:00 AM; Saturday, 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM
  • Female employees living within 3 km of the office are eligible for cab transportation.
  • Saturdays and eligible shifts include additional bonuses and allowances.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Significant HR and talent acquisition experience (at least 10 years), particularly in the education or e-learning sector.
  • Proficiency in reviewing and composing professional documents, with strong AI writing/review abilities.
