About the Role

Pilot Company is hiring a Janitorial Maintenance team member in Hardeeville, SC for a full-time, on-site position. The role supports a fast-paced travel center environment where cleanliness, guest satisfaction, and teamwork are central to the day-to-day experience.

The starting pay for this position is between $12.50 and $18.23 per hour.

The company serves a wide range of guests, including professional drivers, commuters, and travelers, and values an inclusive workplace where team members help create a positive experience for everyone who stops by.

Although this posting is for a specific position, there may be opportunities to learn and move into other roles across the travel center and restaurant operations.

Responsibilities

• Keep the store clean and presentable at all times.
• Clean showers and restroom areas.
• Wash, load, and unload towels used for shower services.
• Handle basic repair and maintenance tasks around the store.
• Collect trash from the travel center and surrounding areas.
• Deliver friendly guest service by helping maintain a well-kept facility.

Requirements

• Strong self-motivation and a proactive work style.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with a team.
• Capacity to lift up to 50 pounds and spend most of the day walking or standing.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule that may include nights, days, weekends, and holidays.
• Prior experience in a similar job is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of industrial equipment and the ability to resolve small issues is a plus.
