IT Manager / Digital Transformation Manager

Overview

We are looking to hire a seasoned IT Manager / Digital Transformation Manager to join a prominent company located in Doha, Qatar. This role provides a unique opportunity for a technology leader to shape, lead, and implement the organization’s IT strategy while steering enterprise-wide technological operations and digital transformation efforts.

Key Duties

• Provide visionary leadership in aligning IT strategies with overall business goals.
• Oversee the organization’s IT infrastructure and day-to-day technology operations to ensure optimal availability, reliability, and security.
• Design, develop, and enforce cybersecurity strategies, policies, and industry best practices to safeguard critical systems and sensitive information.
• Manage enterprise software applications including ERP platforms, Microsoft 365, cloud services, and other essential business systems.
• Lead initiatives focused on digital transformation, identifying technological opportunities to enhance business workflows and processes.
• Champion the integration and deployment of construction technology, artificial intelligence, and automation tools to boost operational effectiveness and project execution.
• Handle relationships with IT vendors, technology collaborators, licensing agreements, and service providers.
• Maintain IT governance through compliance, business continuity planning, disaster recovery strategies, and risk mitigation frameworks.
• Prepare and oversee IT budgets, develop technological roadmaps, and formulate investment plans to support corporate objectives.
• Lead and inspire the internal IT team, promoting a culture of continuous innovation and professional growth.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related disciplines.
• Minimum of 10 years of advancing experience in IT, with at least 5 years in leadership or management roles.
• Proven ability managing enterprise IT infrastructures, cloud environments, networking, cybersecurity, and operational IT functions.
• Successful track record in driving digital transformation projects and modernizing technology platforms.
• Experience in managing enterprise applications such as ERP, Microsoft ecosystem, and cloud platforms.
• Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder interaction, and project management skills.
• Previous experience in a large multinational company or sectors like construction, engineering, infrastructure, or industrial fields is a strong advantage.
• Knowledge of Arabic language is preferred.
