Role Overview
This full-time, on-site General Practitioner position involves providing a wide range of primary care services. Duties include patient consultations, diagnosing and treating acute and chronic health issues, performing physical exams, ordering and analyzing diagnostic tests, prescribing treatments, and managing referrals to specialists as necessary. Preventive services such as vaccinations, screenings, and lifestyle guidance are also integral parts of the role. Maintaining precise medical records and adhering to clinical standards are essential. Collaboration with nursing and allied health professionals, participation in case reviews, and contributions to quality improvement and clinical governance are expected.
Qualifications
- Solid expertise in Medicine and Primary Care, adept at handling various acute and chronic conditions.
- Experience in Family Medicine and community-oriented care ensuring continuity across all age groups.
- Proficient in working within multidisciplinary teams including nursing and allied health personnel.
- Experience mentoring or supervising clinical staff or students is beneficial.
- Holds a recognized medical degree and valid General Practitioner license or eligibility for registration in Singapore.
- Strong clinical judgment combined with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, promoting respect and inclusivity.
- Dedicated to ethical medical practice, patient safety, and ongoing professional development.
- Ability to maintain accuracy in documentation and thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment.
