Job Overview

We are seeking an Environmental Coordinator to join our team in Dhahran, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves overseeing environmental compliance and sustainability initiatives primarily within the oil and gas sector.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure adherence to environmental regulations, permitting processes, and monitoring throughout project lifecycles.
Conduct environmental impact assessments and assist in maintaining regulatory compliance for offshore, refining, petrochemical, or NGL-related projects.
Manage coordination efforts between various stakeholders and maintain effective communication channels.

Candidate Requirements

Possess a bachelor's degree in environmental engineering from an accredited institution.
Advanced qualifications such as a master's or PhD in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Management, Sustainability, or equivalent field are desired.
Have 3 to 5 years of relevant experience within the oil and gas industry, particularly in offshore or petrochemical environments.
Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of maritime laws and offshore regulatory standards like ISM, ISPS, MLC 2006, MARPOL, SOLAS, and STCW.
Exhibit strong skills in stakeholder coordination, communication, and technical documentation including writing and presenting reports.
Preferred certifications include EPI/QEP, and prior Saudi Aramco Environmental Engineer approval is advantageous.
