About the Role
Elusav Recruitment invites applications for an Estimator position within a prominent Irish-owned Fire and Security Systems company based in Dublin. This organisation serves a diverse clientele in the industrial and commercial sectors, specialising in both standard and advanced technology systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed quotes for fire alarm, CCTV, access control, and intruder alarm installations.
- Analyze site survey documentation to derive accurate and comprehensive quotation details.
- Evaluate tender specifications and documents for diverse public and private sector projects.
- Source and appraise pricing from suppliers to ensure cost-effective estimates.
- Create comprehensive cost analyses and complete tender submissions.
- Collaborate closely with engineering and project teams to clarify technical necessities.
- Provide technical costing support to sales and business development units.
- Guarantee that all quotes adhere to applicable standards and client requirements.
- Oversee pricing records and maintain strong supplier partnerships.
- Assist in transitioning commissioned projects to operational teams smoothly.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum of one year experience within the Fire & Security sector or electrical contracting.
- Proven experience in drafting quotations, cost estimates, or tender documents.
- Solid knowledge of fire alarm systems, CCTV, access control, and intrusion detection technology.
- Competency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and site reports.
- Excellent commercial insight and cost evaluation capabilities.
