Courier/DOT Driver

Job Overview

Operate company vehicles to ensure timely and courteous delivery and collection of packages. Verify shipments comply with Federal Express service features and assist customers with related inquiries. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Candidates must possess at least a high school diploma or GED and hold the appropriate driver's license for the assigned vehicle type. The role requires the ability to safely lift packages weighing up to 50 pounds and handle heavier items using equipment or assistance. Effective communication skills and a neat appearance are essential due to frequent customer interactions. Must adhere to Section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, including passing a medical examination per FMCSA or FAA standards. Applicants must be at least 21 years old and proficient in English to understand traffic signs and communicate with officials.

The position is full-time with working days from Tuesday through Saturday, primarily during morning hours.
