Care Partner - Alabama

Role overview

This position is centered on non-emergency medical transportation. The selected care partner will use a personal, insured vehicle to move members safely and on time to medical visits and other essential locations.

What the job involves

• Provide reliable transport for healthcare appointments and other necessary trips.
• Keep the vehicle in safe operating condition and stay on top of routine maintenance.
• Offer door-to-door or curb-to-curb assistance depending on the member’s needs.
• Stay in contact with dispatch and follow trip instructions closely.
• Handle reasonable special requests, including help related to mobility.

Requirements and expectations

• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving history is required.
• Candidates must have access to a dependable vehicle from 2010 or newer.
• The vehicle must be insured.
• Applicants need to clear background screening and vehicle inspection.
• Strong communication and customer service abilities are important.
• Experience in healthcare, transportation, or customer support is preferred.

Additional information

The role allows flexible scheduling. There are no commission deductions, so care providers keep 100% of what they earn. The position is intended to support independence while making a positive impact in the community.
