upGrad International is a premier global education platform dedicated to enhancing careers through top-tier learning and global education opportunities. As we expand throughout the Middle East, we seek a skilled and commercially driven Business Development Manager for our Riyadh office.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement business growth strategies within Saudi Arabia to ensure steady expansion.
- Identify, evaluate, and connect with potential clients and partners via outreach, networking, and market research.
- Establish and nurture relationships with corporate customers, educational institutes, governmental bodies, and other key stakeholders.
- Undertake frequent travel within Riyadh and to surrounding cities to meet clients, foster collaborations, and meet revenue goals.
- Analyze market trends and competitive dynamics to spot new commercial opportunities.
- Create persuasive business proposals, deliver presentations, and negotiate commercial contracts.
- Lead negotiations and oversee the full partnership lifecycle.
- Act as the main contact for important partners, guaranteeing outstanding stakeholder engagement and service quality.
- Work collaboratively with various internal teams to successfully implement business plans.
- Assist with strategic efforts such as program accreditation, lending collaborations, industry events, and market expansion activities.
- Keep comprehensive sales forecasts, pipeline records, and performance analyses up to date.
Qualifications & Experience
- Holder of a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or similar fields.
- At least five years of experience in business development, sales, strategic partnerships, or account management.
- Proven track record of meeting revenue goals and managing complex B2B relationships.
- Possesses strong business insight with an entrepreneurial and solution-focused approach.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation, and presentation capabilities.
- Strong skills in analysis, strategic planning, and problem-solving.
- Capable of managing several priorities independently under fast-paced conditions.
- Highly motivated, detail-focused, proactive, and results-driven.
- Professional English fluency in both speaking and writing.
- Willing to relocate to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
