Position Overview

We are seeking dependable and driven individuals to join our production team at our London, Ontario facility. The role focuses on supporting the manufacturing of top-quality poultry products while adhering to health, safety, and food quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate on the production line filling various roles to manufacture high-quality poultry products according to established health and safety as well as food quality guidelines.
• Conduct quality checks and monitor product specifications throughout processing.
• Manage and operate production machinery by controlling parameters, observing performance, and promptly reporting any malfunctions.
• Engage in manual handling of live poultry including pushing birds to lead hangers to meet hanging standards and correcting any issues such as empty shackles or improperly hung birds.
• Ensure efficient line pace to meet production standards and participate in cross-training through routine role rotations.
• Assist in packaging, labeling, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned and be willing to work overtime, including occasional Saturdays.

Working Hours and Location

The position is full-time, permanent, located at 1577 Wilton Grove Rd, London, ON. Shifts run Monday to Friday from 1:15 PM to 9:45 PM, with possible shift adjustments and overtime opportunities.

Compensation

• Starting wage is $24.55 per hour.
• Additional mandatory compensation may be provided depending on shifts worked.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced production environment.
• Previous experience in manufacturing or food production is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Reliable transportation to the workplace.
• Applicants must be 18 years or older and authorized to work in Canada with proper documentation.
