Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain quality and appealing presentation of bakery products such as breads, cakes, pies, cookies, and rolls.
• Ensure the bakery department is fully stocked and business-ready at all times.
• Properly label, price, and sign all merchandise in the department.
• Comply with cold chain management policies including thermometer calibration, temperature logging, product rotation, and adherence to sell-by and expiration dates.
• Follow food safety guidelines, sanitation, and cleaning procedures consistently.
• Manage ordering processes, clearances, price adjustments, and correct labeling practices.
• Accurately prepare bakery goods by following thawing and baking instructions to preserve quality and appearance.
• Secure all bakery displays safely and professionally.

Compensation

The starting hourly wage for this position is $15.80.

Minimum Qualifications

• Applicants must be at least 16 years old.
