Position Overview

Primary Duties

• Warmly welcome every customer with politeness and friendliness.
• Efficiently handle all purchase transactions, including deactivating merchandise in line with the Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) program.
• Promote Walmart's partner programs such as credit card services, product protection plans, and charitable campaigns.
• Assist customers in bagging their items and loading their merchandise.
• Adhere to safety protocols, including proper lifting techniques and maintaining a tidy workspace.
• Maintain the integrity and security of the cash register through careful cash handling, compliance with company policies, and vigilance of surroundings.
• Refer relevant service or transaction matters to a Customer Service Manager when necessary.

Compensation

The starting wage for this position begins at $18.40 per hour.

• Applicants must be at least 16 years of age.
