Role Overview

This position involves comprehensive technical ownership of AS400-based applications supporting banking operations across various countries. The responsibilities encompass core banking, lending, deposits, payments, and regulatory systems ensuring operational stability and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Take full technical accountability for AS400 applications including country-specific core banking, lending, deposits, payments, and regulatory systems.
Maintain application stability and optimize performance for systems developed using RPG/RPGLE, COBOL, CL, and DB2/400 that support critical banking functions.
Manage relationships with stakeholders and align solutions with regulatory and compliance requirements.
Work within onshore and offshore delivery models tailored for BFSI sector clients.

Required Expertise

Extensive knowledge of global core banking or retail/corporate banking software environments.
Familiarity with multi-country banking applications, regulatory reporting frameworks, and environments with intensive audit processes.
Robust hands-on experience with the IBM i / AS400 platform.
Proficiency in RPG/RPGLE, COBOL, CL programming languages and DB2/400 database.
Clear understanding of batch jobs, online program handling, file management, and integration interfaces.
