Warehouse Shipping Manager

Overview

We are seeking a Warehouse Shipping Manager to independently oversee the finished goods warehouse shipment operations. This role involves close collaboration with planning, transportation, sales, finance, safety, warehouse inventory, and documentation departments to ensure smooth and efficient shipping processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily management of the delivery team, develop and refine L5-level delivery workflows, train, supervise, and evaluate delivery staff operations.
• Take ownership of delivery outcomes by analyzing customer complaints related to errors, shortages, damages, and disorganization; devise targeted corrective actions to enhance customer satisfaction continuously.
• Track and evaluate the workload of bulk vehicle loading/unloading employees; accurately calculate, verify, and report piece-rate wages following company and departmental guidelines.
• Coordinate daily loading activities and allocate shipping resources optimally among various vehicle types including bulk trucks, ocean freight containers, flatbeds, fence trucks, and box trucks.
• Enforce closed-loop standards covering on-site safety, 6S principles, shipping protocols, loading efficiency, proper documentation, and PDA scanning of shipping documents.

Qualifications and Experience

• Proven warehouse management experience in large-scale factories or companies, with a strong understanding of logistics frameworks encompassing planning, production, warehousing, inventory, and shipping processes.
• Capable of working in shift systems, including day and night shifts, with daily shifts lasting 12 hours.
• Experience leading delivery teams of at least 30 members, with skills to motivate and engage frontline employees effectively.
• Strong adherence to company protocols, adeptness at developing work plans, and prioritizing tasks to meet organizational objectives.
• Proficiency with common office software such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Knowledgeable in managing multiple warehouses and storage areas that operate series and parallel shipments; competent in organizing loading operations for flatbed trucks, ocean freight containers, fence trucks, and box trucks with clear loading logic.
• Familiarity with logistics environments handling 100 shipments daily, including the ability to strategically arrange cargo on bulk trucks in alignment with planning department requirements to maximize loading capacity.
• Preference will be given to candidates with extensive experience managing large-scale warehouse shipment operations.
