Overview

This role delivers complete recruitment services to internal stakeholders, managing open positions assigned by the manager. The position involves collaborating closely with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to attract and secure top talent for Celestica, reviewing applications, sourcing new candidates, conducting candidate screenings, and leading offer negotiations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy aligned with site business objectives and global hiring goals, covering both external recruitment and internal selection.
  • Develop and sustain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for current and anticipated hiring needs using innovative sourcing and candidate engagement techniques.
  • Utilize talent analytics and recruitment metrics to shape strategy, measure success, and facilitate continuous improvement.
  • Enhance Celestica's employer brand to attract premier candidates and position the company as an employer of choice.
  • Work collaboratively with HR Business Partners, hiring managers, and key stakeholders for precise alignment of talent requirements throughout recruitment cycles.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on best practices, policies, and procedures related to talent acquisition.
  • Provide mentorship and leadership to junior talent acquisition professionals to build a high-performing and motivated team.
  • Ensure global resourcing strategy alignment across objectives and standards, contributing to a unified global talent acquisition approach.
  • Lead and support changes to recruitment processes, technology, and strategic initiatives.
  • Develop comprehensive resourcing strategies at the site level for recruitment and internal staffing, including guidance to junior resourcing staff.
  • Act as a subject matter expert and consultant to HR and hiring managers on resourcing initiatives impacting talent attraction and retention.
  • Oversee monthly resourcing data consolidation and reporting to regional leadership.
  • Manage team objectives and resource allocation to optimize workload distribution and promote knowledge sharing, innovation, and continuous learning.

Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies

  • Strong understanding of human resources laws and government regulations affecting recruitment practices.
  • In-depth knowledge of company HR policies, especially global and regional staffing procedures.
  • Ability to provide comprehensive resourcing consultation across diverse internal customers.
  • Capability to devise staffing strategies for various scenarios, including large-scale projects and individual manager requisitions up to the managerial level.
  • Proficiency in conducting behavioral interviews for positions up to managerial roles.
  • Excellent project and time management skills to ensure timely position closures.
  • Maintains confidentiality with sensitive employee information.
  • Proficient with computer tools such as Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project, and Visio.
  • Intermediate grasp of personal and interpersonal attributes, with skills in project management and organizational awareness.

Working Conditions

This position requires office-based work with extended periods of sitting and focused computer use, including repetitive manual tasks such as data entry. Occasional travel may be necessary.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this role is $95,000 to $130,000 annually, representing base compensation. Additionally, a comprehensive benefits package is provided. Salary may vary based on responsibilities, experience, credentials, or geographic location.

Experience and Education

  • Typically requires 7 to 10 years of recruiting or equivalent experience.
  • A Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred, though an equivalent combination of education and experience may also be considered.
