Key Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and roll out innovative features to enhance the experience of our Android Futures applications worldwide.
• Ensure all user-facing features meet benchmarks for high performance, stability, and optimal user experience through elegant and scalable code design.
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to define and deliver new product features while maintaining high standards of quality throughout development cycles.
• Integrate a variety of real-time third-party data sources and APIs, optimizing them to achieve seamless, responsive app experiences.
• Author comprehensive unit tests to guarantee reliability, efficiency, and robust handling of edge cases.
• Debug and resolve critical application issues, continually striving to improve app efficiency and performance metrics.
• Contribute insights and participate in technical discussions regarding app architecture, system design, and long-term platform strategy.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• More than 5 years of hands-on professional Android development, with a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Kotlin and Java, with strong command of object-oriented programming principles.
• Thorough expertise in Android system architecture, component lifecycle management, and rendering processes for modern user interfaces.
• In-depth experience with Android Jetpack libraries (e.g., ViewModel, Room), as well as Retrofit and OkHttp for efficient networking.
• Strong grasp of modular architecture, MVVM/MVI design patterns, and scalable development best practices for large projects.
• Expert-level skills in application performance tuning—including memory usage, layout efficiency, battery optimization, and cold start performance.
• Proficient in utilizing profiling and diagnostic tools such as Profiler, Systrace, Perfetto, and LeakCanary.
• Solid understanding of high-concurrency and low-latency conditions, with practical experience working with WebSockets and real-time data flows.
• Additional assets include expertise in Flutter or Jetpack Compose, large-scale app architecture/refactoring, or prior work experience in cryptocurrency exchanges.
• Outstanding analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities; able to work effectively in a team environment.
