About the Team
The 'Home, Market & Dashboard' team is instrumental at Binance, developing and refining primary user interfaces and experiences. By ensuring the smooth presentation of market data, account management, and trading features, the team elevates the overall functionality and usability of the Binance platform.
Role Overview
We are searching for an experienced Backend Engineer specializing in Java Spring, with over 5 years of relevant background. This role focuses on building scalable recommendation systems and integrating large language model (LLM) technologies into core backend services. Familiarity with AWS, blockchain, and full-stack development is considered advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and enhance backend APIs and microservices for global product lines using Java technologies.
- Deliver robust backend architectures optimized for security, scalability, and high availability to sustain critical business operations.
- Facilitate ongoing communication and collaboration with team members across international time zones.
- Work in partnership with product and project leadership to jointly own overall system design and delivery.
- Continuously monitor, evaluate, and improve system performance and reliability in live production environments.
- Engineer production-grade LLM systems that serve real business applications, emphasizing streamlined automation and reproducibility.
- Manage and optimize on-premise LLM-related workload deployments.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in backend software development and system architecture.
- Deep proficiency with Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful API development.
- Competence in working with both SQL and NoSQL databases and messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ within microservices-driven environments.
- Demonstrated experience in designing architecture, developing code, and conducting performance tuning for LLM-based solutions.
- Background in LLM training and development of platform tools for optimization.
- Fluency in English and Mandarin required for effective communication with global peers and stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Additional full-stack development exposure.
- Expertise or training with AWS cloud services.
- Understanding of blockchain principles and their technological implementations.
