Senior Accountant

Position Overview

Shati Chemicals is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team in Dubai. This is a full-time, onsite role ideal for an adept professional capable of executing comprehensive accounting duties and facilitating smooth financial operations in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities, encompassing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation processes.
• Accurately process payroll and oversee employee reimbursement procedures.
• Handle cash flow monitoring and budget management to ensure financial stability.
• Maintain professional communications with banks and financial institutions related to credit facilities.
• Ensure adherence to compliance standards, internal financial controls, and accounting frameworks.
• Assist management by delivering financial insights and optimizing accounting workflows.
• Coordinate with external auditors during monthly and annual audit periods.

Preferred Experience and Background

• Extensive experience managing comprehensive accounting functions in medium-sized enterprises.
• Demonstrated expertise in supervising accounting staff or bookkeepers.

Qualifications and Eligibility

• At least 6 years of accounting experience within the GCC region.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related discipline, preferably from a recognized University or College.
• Certified Management Accountant (CMA) credential from the USA is highly desirable.
• Filipina candidates are preferred.
• Applicants aged 40 or below are preferred.
• Exhibit strong job stability, with a minimum tenure of 2 years per previous position favored.

Additional Information

• Monthly salary up to AED 10,000, negotiable based on candidate experience, along with standard benefits.
• Immediate joining is preferable.
• Candidates must furnish work experience certificates and references from 2 to 3 former employers.
• The position includes a probation period lasting 6 months.
