Role Overview
This opportunity involves joining Barclays as a PMO on a 12-month secondment basis, providing crucial support to Change Delivery Managers to ensure their projects succeed and align with the company's strategic goals. A key responsibility is maintaining consistency in project management practices, processes, and governance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist change delivery managers by ensuring their programs comply fully with the Barclays Control Framework, maintaining oversight on controls and governance.
- Develop and apply standardized PMO processes and methodologies that align with governance standards, supporting effective project delivery.
- Track project performance meticulously by monitoring progress, identifying risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies, and prepare progress reports for senior leadership.
- Manage project documentation, including schedules, plans, and budgets, guaranteeing accuracy and up-to-date records.
- Facilitate governance processes by aligning projects with strategic objectives and effectively handling risks and dependencies.
- Provide training on change management frameworks to project managers and involved stakeholders to equip them for successful project delivery.
- Promote continuous enhancement of project management practices by identifying improvements and implementing them.
Candidate Profile and Expectations
- Must have extensive knowledge of BUK Tech Governance and strong experience using JIRA.
- Experienced in managing project finances is essential.
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral, with effective presentation capabilities are highly valued.
- Applicants may be evaluated on critical success skills including risk and control management, change and transformation expertise, business acumen, strategic thinking, as well as digital and technology knowledge.
- Demonstrates thorough technical knowledge and expertise in their work area and can guide teams, distribute work, and support professional growth if in a leadership role.

Location and Additional Information
This position is located in Knutsford and Northampton, England. Candidates will need to work onsite full-time.
