About the Opportunity
A prominent healthcare provider in Saudi Arabia is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator who is dedicated to enhancing patient experiences and ensuring efficient coordination among patients, physicians, and multidisciplinary clinical teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and navigate the patient's entire care journey from initial consultation through subsequent follow-ups.
- Organize and schedule appointments, medical procedures, referrals, and diagnostic services promptly.
- Act as the central contact for patients, providing timely communication and support.
- Work closely with doctors, nurses, and clinical staff to promote excellent patient care delivery.
- Inform patients about their treatment plans, procedures, medication regimens, and post-care instructions.
- Maintain complete and accurate patient records with meticulous documentation.
- Address patient concerns professionally to ensure a favorable care experience.
- Adhere to patient confidentiality, healthcare regulations, and quality assurance standards.
- Contribute to ongoing quality improvement efforts and strive for operational excellence.
Qualifications and Experience
- Possess a Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or a related health discipline.
- Have a minimum of two years' experience in Patient Care Coordination, Medical Administration, Patient Relations, or related healthcare roles.
- Experience in hospitals, medical centers, or specialty clinics is preferred.
- Exhibit excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and a customer-focused approach.
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Function effectively in a high-paced healthcare setting.
- Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office applications and Hospital Information Systems such as HIS or EMR is a plus.
- Fluent in both Arabic and English languages.
