Job Overview and Interview Details
This opportunity is for an experienced Kafka Administrator based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Candidates must be currently located in Chennai to be eligible. The interview will be conducted face-to-face during a weekend walk-in on August 26 (Saturday).
Role Summary
The Kafka Administrator will take charge of the full range of Kafka administrative tasks along with Unix system activities. This role requires designing, building, and managing Kafka data pipelines and collaborating with big data technologies including Hadoop, Spark, and Storm.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain Kafka clusters ensuring their optimal performance and health.
- Develop, manage, and monitor Kafka topics, producers, and consumers.
- Provide technical support by troubleshooting Kafka-related issues and addressing customer queries.
- Support Kafka infrastructure administration tasks comprehensively.
- Implement Python-based Kafka consumers and producers to facilitate data integration with other systems.
Additional Preferred Skills
- Ensure high availability, robust performance, and security measures for Kafka infrastructure.
- Develop and sustain automation solutions for Kafka infrastructure management.
