Position Overview

The role of Expeditor II in Logistics involves supporting supply chain activities by expediting and monitoring the delivery of equipment and materials essential for fulfilling Purchase Orders, Contracts, or Projects. This position is based in Calgary, Alberta, and offers a hybrid work model with a contract tenure of at least 12 months, with potential for extension.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and accelerate delivery timelines for assigned equipment and materials necessary for project completion.
• Utilize stakeholder meetings, internal systems, standardized templates, and established processes to proactively identify and mitigate potential supply chain risks.
• Develop and nurture effective relationships with stakeholders including vendors, engineering teams, project personnel, contractors, quality teams, and supply chain members such as logistics coordinators.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Business, Economics or an equivalent field.
• Alternatively, 2 to 4 years of relevant experience within supply chain or logistics roles may be considered in lieu of degree.
• Familiarity with best practices in expediting, alongside understanding of logistics, purchasing processes, and project documentation requirements.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to establish and maintain collaborative relationships.
• Combination of education, training, and experience that meets the role's requirements.

• Pay Rate: $32-34 per hour (T4 basis)
• Location: Calgary, Alberta (Hybrid working)
