Job Overview

We are seeking a dependable and meticulous Cleaner to perform cleaning services on residential rental properties. This includes tasks related to move-in and move-out cleaning, rental turnovers, and preparing listings for showings. The position requires working independently, adhering to cleaning protocols, recording completed tasks, and identifying any property issues requiring subsequent attention prior to listing or occupancy.

Key Responsibilities

• Travel to residential rental locations to carry out cleaning appointments focused on move-in/move-out, turnovers, and listing preparation.
• Perform comprehensive cleaning of kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living rooms, hallways, appliances, floors, surfaces, cabinets, fixtures, and other areas.
• Remove dust, debris, garbage, and any leftover items as necessary.
• Clean and sanitize surfaces such as counters, sinks, mirrors, doors, baseboards, and frequently touched areas.
• Vacuum, sweep, mop floors; clean inside of appliances including refrigerators, stoves, ovens, microwaves, dishwashers, washers, and dryers when required.
• Identify and report areas needing extra cleaning, junk removal, repairs, maintenance, or follow-ups.
• Document cleaning progress with clear before-and-after photographs and videos.
• Provide detailed updates, notes, and visual documentation after each cleaning session.
• Maintain professional communication with landlords, applicants, tenants, and internal team members.
• Comply with company guidelines, cleaning checklists, property access instructions, and appointment specifics.

Additional Cleaning Duties

• Deep cleaning tasks.
• Kitchen and bathroom sanitation.
• Cleaning and maintenance of appliances.
• Dusting and cleaning of surfaces, cabinets, drawers, window sills, and baseboards.
• Garbage disposal and light debris cleanup.
• Preparation cleaning prior to photos, inspections, shows, or tenant move-in.

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience in cleaning roles such as housekeeper, residential cleaner, or cleaning contractor with familiarity in residential standards.
• Dependable transportation and personal cleaning supplies and equipment for appointments.
• Comfortable working independently at different residential rental sites.
• Possession of an iPhone 13 or equivalent smartphone with high-quality camera capabilities to capture photos and videos.
• Ability to produce clear written updates and maintain accurate records post-appointments.
• Professionalism, reliability, punctuality, and attention to detail.
• Capability to follow detailed checklists, instructions, and access information thoroughly.
• Effective communication skills with landlords, tenants, applicants, and team members.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience specifically in move-in, move-out, or rental turnover cleaning.
• Familiarity with preparing residential rental properties for photography, showings, inspections, or move-in readiness.
• Ability to identify property damage, maintenance needs, pest issues, junk removal, access challenges, or unsafe conditions.
• Experience working independently in field roles related to property management, leasing, cleaning, or home services companies.
