About the Role

ESS – Defence, Energy and Government Services is seeking a full-time Cleaner to join their cleaning and facilities teams. The position operates 37.5 hours per week with a typical shift pattern of 5 days out of 7. This role is pivotal in ensuring the safety, hygiene, and positive experiences for clients and customers at various sites including military establishments, government facilities, and energy sector locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the cleaning and facilities teams to maintain safe and hygienic environments for all clients and customers.
• Carry out dusting, sweeping, polishing, mopping, and vacuuming in assigned areas to meet high cleanliness standards.
• Regularly sanitize surfaces, floors, windows, and other frequently touched points.
• Respond to additional cleaning requirements, such as promptly cleaning up spillages.
• Manage waste disposal by emptying and removing bin contents appropriately.
• Monitor inventory and restock cleaning supplies as necessary.

Candidate Profile

• Exhibits excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Enjoys engaging in practical, hands-on cleaning work.
• Prior experience in cleaning roles is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Demonstrates flexibility in work approach and schedule.
