Job Purpose
The Assistant Manager will support the Operations and Maintenance functions within the company, ensuring efficient asset deployment, regulatory compliance, customer satisfaction, and smooth operational processes including vendor management and financial transaction facilitation.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage customer service issues, escalating to Original Equipment Manufacturers when needed.
- Ensure optimal use of company assets and assist in customer acquisition and relationship management.
- Conduct site inspections, oversee vendor payments, and handle payables and receivables effectively.
- Support estate maintenance to uphold operational continuity.
- Carry out accurate Handover-Takeover processes ensuring compliance with Service Level Agreements.
- Maintain site cleanliness and regulatory standards; participate in vendor governance meetings.
- Process electricity distribution company payments promptly and resolve customer complaints swiftly.
- Implement preventive maintenance strategies to reduce downtime and prolong asset lifespan.
- Oversee digital platform devices, promotional initiatives, dashboard and MIS updates, social media activities, and performance analytics.
- Contribute operational insights to planning and budgeting; maintain document tracking systems.
- Support call center operations and train staff for enhanced customer service quality.
- Collaborate closely with various internal teams and external partners to achieve departmental and organizational goals, fostering a culture of development and excellence.
Key Stakeholders
Internal: Projects, TechnoCommercial, Business Development, Technical Services, Finance, and IT teams.
External: Distribution Companies, regional and channel partners, and vendors.
Qualifications and Experience
The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field, with preference for MBA or equivalent advanced degrees. Candidates should possess over three years of experience in strategic planning, procurement, and commercial management, ideally within the Charge Point Operator industry, utilities, petroleum, or technology sectors.
