Assistant Manager - PNG Projects

Job Overview

We are seeking an Assistant Manager to oversee PNG pipeline installation projects, ensuring they meet deadlines, budgets, and quality benchmarks. This role involves coordinating with various teams to design and deploy PNG systems for diverse sectors including industrial, commercial, and residential.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and supervise PNG pipeline installations, guaranteeing compliance with scheduling and budgetary limits.
• Work collaboratively with multiple departments to create and implement PNG system designs tailored to different client needs.
• Perform site inspections and feasibility evaluations to define project parameters and technical demands.
• Manage resources effectively—manpower, materials, and equipment—to optimize project workflows.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations throughout all stages of PNG developments.
• Offer technical assistance and resolve issues related to operational PNG systems to maintain continuous service.
• Liaise with suppliers and contractors to acquire quality materials and services essential for project success.
• Employ project management software to monitor progress, prepare detailed reports, and keep stakeholders informed.
• Assist the General Affairs Head with strategic planning and critical decision-making regarding PNG initiatives.
• Keep abreast of advancements and best practices in the industry to improve efficiency and service delivery.

Qualifications Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Between 4 and 7 years of project management experience in the gas distribution or broader energy sectors.
• Demonstrable knowledge in designing, installing, and maintaining PNG systems.
