Acquisition Operations Specialist

Overview

The Acquisition Operations Specialist role focuses on identifying new real estate development opportunities through a combination of physical site scouting and online governmental research in Saudi Arabia. The candidate will gather detailed project data, maintain it in a centralized digital dashboard, and support early-stage business development efforts by filtering leads and providing strategic insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform on-the-ground visits to detect under-construction, pre-launch, or newly launched property developments.
• Interact with site staff, brokers, and sales teams to collect foundational project and developer information.
• Monitor field visual cues such as signs and hoardings to find opportunities within target areas.
• Conduct comprehensive research on online portals, government websites like Balady and WAFI, and municipal platforms to discover recently approved projects.
• Extract relevant data including project approval status, licenses, developer details, and construction phases.
• Compile project-specific information covering location, land area, developer identity, and progress stage.
• Standardize and upload gathered raw data into a centralized backend dashboard developed for business development use.
• Regularly update the internal database with timestamped and verified entries categorized by project stage, location, and developer profile.
• Collaborate with Relationship Managers to verify information accuracy before commercial negotiations.
• Provide field insights to enhance negotiation strategies, feasibility evaluations, and prioritization efforts.
• Serve as the initial filter for identifying new business opportunities, alerting the team to high-demand zones and newly launched projects.

Qualifications and Experience

• Graduate degree in business, finance, economics, or similar discipline; preference for BBA degree holders.
• Minimum of three years’ experience in a comparable real estate acquisition role within the Saudi Arabian market.

Knowledge and Skills

• Comprehensive understanding of the Saudi real estate market, including various stages of project development and market demand trends.
• Strong research aptitude for sourcing relevant information from both field and online government and regulatory platforms.
• Expertise in managing, organizing, and standardizing large datasets within digital systems; knowledge of database principles is advantageous.
• Competency with online real estate portals, government websites, and internal databases.
• Analytical capabilities combined with stakeholder management and contract-related knowledge.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data collection and processing.
• Excellent communication skills for interfacing with external site contacts and internal teams.
