Warehouse Cleaner

Role Overview

As a Warehouse Cleaner at Lidl, based in Exeter, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the warehouse environment. Working full-time in an onsite capacity, your responsibilities will include ensuring all warehouse areas, loading bays, car parks, and common spaces remain spotless throughout the day.

Key Duties

• Cleaning floors, fixtures, fittings, and promptly handling spillages
• Removing waste packaging from warehouse floors to reduce trip hazards
• Stocking 'clean as you go' stations with necessary supplies such as tissue rolls and hazard signs
• Keeping fire exits free from obstructions and litter
• Emptying recycling stations and relocating them to designated recycling areas
• Operating cleaning machinery confidently
• Maintaining hygiene and adhering strictly to Health and Safety standards

Candidate Requirements

• Strong attention to detail with a conscientious approach
• Experience in cleaning or maintenance is advantageous but not mandatory
• Commitment to comply with the Corporate Code of Conduct and internal guidelines
• Flexibility to undertake individual tasks apart from picking when needed

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive hourly wage between £13.45 and £13.65
• 40-hour weekly schedule from 05:00 to 14:30, five days out of seven
