Role Overview

As a Warehouse Cleaner at Lidl, based in Exeter, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the warehouse environment. Working full-time in an onsite capacity, your responsibilities will include ensuring all warehouse areas, loading bays, car parks, and common spaces remain spotless throughout the day.

Key Duties

Cleaning floors, fixtures, fittings, and promptly handling spillages
Removing waste packaging from warehouse floors to reduce trip hazards
Stocking 'clean as you go' stations with necessary supplies such as tissue rolls and hazard signs
Keeping fire exits free from obstructions and litter
Emptying recycling stations and relocating them to designated recycling areas
Operating cleaning machinery confidently
Maintaining hygiene and adhering strictly to Health and Safety standards

Candidate Requirements

Strong attention to detail with a conscientious approach
Experience in cleaning or maintenance is advantageous but not mandatory
Commitment to comply with the Corporate Code of Conduct and internal guidelines
Flexibility to undertake individual tasks apart from picking when needed

Compensation and Benefits

Competitive hourly wage between £13.45 and £13.65
40-hour weekly schedule from 05:00 to 14:30, five days out of seven
