Wynn Al Marjan Island is an upscale beachfront destination planned to welcome guests in the United Arab Emirates in Spring 2027. The integrated resort is being built on a scenic island in Ras al-Khaimah, about 50 minutes from Dubai International Airport, and will feature 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants and lounges, a theatre, a nightclub, and a five-star spa.

About the Role

The resort is hiring an Usher to join its Theatre Operations team. This role focuses on delivering a polished front-of-house experience, guiding guests, supporting accessibility needs, and helping the theatre run safely and smoothly before, during, and after performances.

Key Duties

• Welcome audience members courteously and respond to their questions.
• Guide patrons to seats, facilities, and concession areas.
• Provide high-quality service to all guests, including VIP and access patrons.
• Verify both printed and digital tickets in a prompt and respectful manner.
• Manage late arrivals by directing them to the correct entry point at the proper time.
• Observe audience conduct and escalate any disturbance to supervisors, management, or security.
• Help maintain a safe evacuation process in the event of an emergency.
• Apply venue rules related to photography, mobile phone use, and audience behaviour.
• Assist guests who need support due to mobility, hearing, or other access requirements.
• Issue and collect hearing devices or other assistance items as needed.
• Serve as an Access Host when required, taking full responsibility for access patrons and any service animals accompanying them.
• Keep the auditorium, foyer, and restrooms clean and orderly before, during, and after shows.
• Hand out and gather programmes or promotional materials.
• Take part in pre-show briefings and post-show debriefs.
• Coordinate closely with front-of-house colleagues, box office teams, and security staff.

Candidate Profile

The preferred applicant will bring around 2 years of experience in theatre ushering or hospitality service. Exposure to West End or Broadway-style theatres, or familiarity with performance schedules and venue operations, is an advantage. The role also suits someone who is confident, calm under pressure, detail-oriented, and comfortable working as part of a flexible team.

Additional Requirements

Basic first aid training is optional and can be provided if needed. The candidate should be able to handle pressure, support staff operations when required, and communicate clearly and professionally with guests and colleagues.
