About Wynn Al Marjan Island

Wynn Al Marjan Island is scheduled to open in the United Arab Emirates in Spring 2027. Designed as a luxurious beachside destination for guests looking to relax and enjoy themselves, the resort is being developed on a scenic island in Ras al-Khaimah, less than 50 minutes from Dubai International Airport. The integrated property will feature 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants and lounges, a theatre, a nightclub, and a five-star spa.

About the Role

The resort is looking for an Usher to support its Theatre Operations team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests professionally, answer basic questions, and help them find what they need.
  • Guide audience members to seating areas, guest facilities, and concession points.
  • Provide attentive service to all patrons, including VIP and accessibility guests.
  • Verify both paper and digital tickets in a smooth and courteous manner.
  • Manage late arrivals by directing them to the correct entry points at the right time.
  • Observe audience conduct and escalate any disturbances to the relevant supervisors, managers, or security staff.
  • Help maintain a safe theatre environment and support evacuation procedures if an emergency occurs.
  • Apply venue rules related to photography, mobile phone use, and expected behavior.
  • Assist guests with mobility, hearing, and other access-related requirements.
  • Issue and retrieve hearing devices or other assistance items when needed.
  • When assigned as an Access Host, take full responsibility for supporting access patrons and their service animals.
  • Keep the auditorium, foyer, and washrooms clean and orderly before, during, and after performances.
  • Hand out and collect programmes or promotional materials.
  • Join pre-show briefings and post-show debriefs as required.
  • Collaborate effectively with front-of-house staff, box office teams, and security personnel.

Candidate Profile

The company is seeking someone with a warm, polished, and professional presence who can remain composed in a busy theatre environment and deliver strong guest service.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Preferred background of 2 years in theatre ushering or the hospitality service industry.
  • Exposure to West End, Broadway, theatre venues, or performance schedules is desirable.
  • Basic first aid training is optional and can be provided.
  • Ability to supervise others and perform effectively under pressure.
  • Friendly, approachable, and professional manner.
  • Strong spoken communication skills.
  • Calm judgment and quick problem-solving ability in fast-moving situations.
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in venue presentation.
  • Flexible team-oriented attitude.
