This opportunity is for a Trading Support Operator in Ireland, hired through a partner company that handles the application review and hiring stages. The position supports a global, client-facing function focused on delivering live trading and sports betting data products smoothly and accurately.
The role blends customer support, operations, and product performance work. It calls for strong analytical thinking, a proactive approach to troubleshooting, and the ability to work closely with sportsbook clients and internal teams to resolve trading and product issues.
You’ll operate in a fast-moving, collaborative setting where accuracy, responsiveness, and steady improvement matter. The role also provides exposure to esports and sports betting markets, making it a good fit for someone who enjoys data-led, dynamic environments.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the main point of contact for sportsbook clients on product behavior, trading data, and operational questions, and respond promptly and accurately.
- Examine customer issues, operational warnings, and system irregularities by collecting, checking, and interpreting the relevant details.
- Route complex incidents to the appropriate technical or trading teams and maintain clear tracking and follow-up until closure.
- Record, monitor, and update operational issues, supporting resolution processes and broader service improvement efforts.
- Contribute to product improvements by relaying customer feedback, spotting repeated defects, and helping maintain knowledge-base content.
- Work closely with internal partners to raise service quality, strengthen product stability, and improve the overall customer experience.
What the role requires
- Background in customer support, operations, trading support, or another client-facing role.
- Strong ability to analyze information and solve problems, including investigating complex situations.
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken; other languages are a plus.
- Sharp attention to detail and the ability to stay accurate in a busy, high-pressure environment.
- Comfort using team and workflow tools such as Slack, Google Workspace, Jira, or Microsoft Teams.
- Genuine interest in esports, sports betting, trading settings, or data-focused digital products.
- Ability to learn new systems, processes, and technical concepts quickly, and willingness to work shifts or weekends when needed.
