About Dulcedo Management and the Role
Dulcedo Management is a comprehensive talent management agency representing over 350 creators, including athletes, entertainers, and models. We prioritize long-term strategic career development over transactional management, fostering an entrepreneurial mindset within our teams while equipping them with the necessary tools and support for lasting success.
Our work environment is ambitious, highly collaborative, and geared towards continuous growth and innovation. We celebrate collective achievements, promote knowledge sharing, and invest significantly in creating an optimal workplace that empowers our people to excel.
Role Overview
The Team Manager position at Dulcedo extends beyond traditional people management. We seek a genuine leader who enjoys mentoring, recognizing strengths, unlocking potential, and cultivating a high-achieving team. You will lead and nurture a team of Agents, enhancing their confidence and performance, while actively contributing to a thriving and dynamic company culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and coaching to a small team, driving growth in individual performance, confidence, and responsibility.
- Conduct regular one-on-one meetings to deliver feedback, guidance, and strategic direction tailored to team members' needs.
- Collaborate with Associate Directors and executive leadership to align on strategic priorities, monitor performance, assess team requirements, and identify business opportunities.
- Play a direct role in the recruitment lifecycle including hiring, onboarding, and training new team members to ensure their sustained success.
- Lead performance evaluations, facilitate goal setting, and develop personalized growth plans for team members.
- Continue to represent talent directly and contribute to sales outcomes by exemplifying leadership through action.
Why This Position is Important
Team Managers at Dulcedo play a crucial role in sustaining agency health, delivering consistent performance, and fostering a supportive culture. Leadership here is defined by influence and trust, not hierarchy—focused on enabling others to develop their capabilities while advancing the organization.
Candidate Profile
Ideal candidates bring approximately 5 years or more of experience in talent management or influencer marketing, along with demonstrated ability to lead or mentor junior staff. However, strong enthusiasm for mentorship and the creator industry is paramount; we welcome applicants from adjacent fields who share this passion as training will be provided.
Benefits and Work Environment
- Unlimited paid vacation, 12 personal days, sick leave, birthday off, and flexible work schedules.
- Agency-wide Holiday Recharge week between Christmas and New Year’s and early finish Fridays.
- Option to work remotely or from pet-friendly office locations, with resources and support to customize your work-life balance.
- Performance-based compensation structure including unlimited individual commissions, team commissions, bonuses, and annual salary reviews focused on results, contribution, and leadership rather than tenure alone.
- The vibrant energy of a rapidly growing boutique agency combined with the stability and reputation of a leading North American talent management firm.
