About the Role
This position, based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, involves overseeing, implementing, and refining the organization’s Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) and the broader Common Data Environment (CDE) to ensure secure, efficient, and reliable management of digital information. As part of a large-scale project delivery team, the Senior Consultant brings together technical knowledge, digital architecture, and governance best practices to align information management practices with business needs and regulatory requirements.
Main Responsibilities
- Set up, configure, and maintain enterprise EDMS and CDE platforms, ensuring compliance with organizational and ISO19650 standards.
- Establish and uphold document control rules, including naming schemes, metadata, classification, and use of official templates.
- Create, implement, and monitor document management workflows and approval steps for all involved parties.
- Support the full lifecycle of information management across design, construction, and operational handover.
- Coordinate with digital teams to keep metadata, requirements, and deliverables aligned.
- Contribute to architecture decisions regarding digital ecosystems and integrated reporting solutions.
- Plan and manage integrations to ensure smooth, secure data exchange with other enterprise systems and PMIS.
- Conduct vendor coordination, lead technical alignment workshops, and oversee compliance with enterprise, security, and governance standards for all providers.
- Roll out training, user manuals, and onboarding for EDMS/CDE and support stakeholder adaptation through change management.
- Monitor and improve data quality, system performance, and usage, taking corrective actions where needed.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Extensive experience (preferably 8–12+ years) in electronic information management within major capital projects or similar environments.
- Hands-on expertise with prominent EDMS/CDE platforms (such as Aconex, ProjectWise, Asite, ACC, or Viewpoint).
- Familiarity with EDMS/CDE and PMIS integrations.
- Strong grasp of structured data models, document control, metadata management, and workflow automation.
- In-depth knowledge of ISO 19650 principles for information management.
- Experience in the GCC region is highly valued.
