Key Responsibilities

  • Guide the identification, evaluation, and prioritization of risks, opportunities, and issues affecting projects.

  • Support the formulation of measurable, specific management responses and evaluate their post-mitigation impact.
  • Monitor overall risk exposure, assessing it against remaining budget and project timelines.
  • Develop and deliver clear, timely risk reports to communicate status and necessary senior management actions.

  • Utilize web-based database and reporting platforms including ARM, Xactium, Predict, Tableau, and PowerBI for risk data management and visualization.

Candidate Qualifications

  • Proven experience in risk delivery roles on major projects or for blue-chip clients, preferably within energy, renewables, defence, rail, or utilities sectors.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement integrated risk management approaches across portfolios, programmes, and projects.
  • Skilled in facilitating Risk and Scenario Analysis workshops and in generating proactive risk mitigation and opportunity exploitation strategies.
  • Experience with qualitative and quantitative risk assessments, including probabilistic modeling with @risk, PRA, or similar tools. Industry-leading training will be provided.
  • Good understanding of Project Controls methodologies and their interaction with risk management practices.
  • Attaining or working towards professional risk certifications such as IRM or APM risk certifications is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a commitment to continuous improvement and innovation in working methods.
