Role Purpose and Responsibilities
The Quality Technician II role primarily focuses on establishing and maintaining controls for products and processes within various technical functions, ensuring compliance with customer and regulatory standards. Responsibilities require minimal supervision and include maintaining and enhancing Integer's quality systems.
- Prepare and finalize quality documentation while ensuring adherence to Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
- Engage in problem-solving activities and contribute to continuous improvement assessments of processes and products.
- Operate and maintain calibrated equipment; perform repairs and modifications as needed.
- Conduct inspections following authorized specifications and applicable quality standards.
- Propose improvements to existing work instructions to enhance quality, clarity, and operational efficiency.
- Set up and execute tests under procedure or Engineering guidance; conduct failure analyses or troubleshooting when required.
- Assist in training personnel on correct techniques for system, equipment, and process use.
- Provide departmental support through data compilation, guidance, and analysis.
- Adhere to company safety, quality policies, and Quality Management System (QMS) to foster a culture of quality ownership.
- Drive and escalate quality improvements and non-conformance issues to meet company quality objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs) aiming toward 5 Sigma quality levels.
- Perform other assigned tasks as necessary to support site goals.

- Meet or exceed all set goals and objectives.
Qualifications and Preferences
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or relevant technical experience preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience with Integer or a minimum of 3 years in manufacturing; an associate degree may substitute for some experience.
- Familiarity with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
- Preferred knowledge of ISO9001/ISO13485 quality standards.
- Product-specific expertise is advantageous.
- Competence with computer operations and ability to read and interpret drawings and work instructions.
- Proficient with measurement instruments such as pin gages, calipers, and optical comparators.
- Strong organizational abilities coupled with clear communication skills and meticulous attention to detail.
