Role overview
Corsair is looking for a Product Experience Designer to shape the user experience across its full product ecosystem in Landshut, Bavaria. The role covers embedded HMI surfaces such as steering wheel displays and RevLED, the Fanatec app, and parameter visualization.
What you will do
- Set the UX direction for the complete product platform and take ownership of the experience vision.
- Create a design system and UX principles from the ground up.
- Develop wireframes, interactive prototypes, and engineering-ready design specifications for implementation.
- Carry out user research and usability testing, using feedback from both beginner and advanced sim racing users to guide design choices.
- Support Marketing as an internal UX resource by helping with product launches, campaign assets, and other digital touchpoints while keeping the visual language consistent.
What the role requires
- At least 5 years of experience in UX/UI design.
- Prior exposure to technical products or hardware-adjacent environments such as consumer electronics, automotive HMI, or gaming peripherals is preferred.
- A strong portfolio that demonstrates the full design process from research and information architecture through wireframing, prototyping, and shipped interfaces.
- Solid hands-on experience with Figma.
- Experience creating and managing design systems from an early stage.
- Understanding of embedded HMI limitations, including constrained displays and firmware-led interfaces.
- Ability to produce clear, implementation-ready documentation for embedded and software engineering teams.
- Comfort working closely with technical stakeholders and translating design decisions into buildable solutions.
- Self-driven approach with the ability to establish UX practices in a new or lightly structured environment.
- Fluent English is required; German is an added advantage.
- An interest in sim racing or gaming hardware is beneficial.
