Position overview
Corsair is hiring an HR Operations Coordinator in Milpitas, California to support core people-operations activities across the Americas. This role focuses on keeping employee processes running smoothly, maintaining accurate records, and helping deliver a consistent employee experience from onboarding through offboarding.
What you will do
- Manage the end-to-end onboarding and offboarding experience, including new-hire orientation, exit interviews, and final pay handling.
- Administer employee recognition efforts such as service anniversary awards and organization-wide recognition programs.
- Support compensation-related work, including market benchmarking, offer preparation, promotion administration, and off-cycle pay changes.
- Handle leave administration in line with applicable laws and regulations, including FMLA, ADA, USERRA, and the Pregnancy Discrimination Act.
- Complete employee lifecycle updates in Oracle HCM and ensure all actions are backed by the right documentation and approvals.
- Assist with benefits administration, respond to employee questions, and help coordinate annual open enrollment.
- Keep employee files current by maintaining and auditing both digital and physical personnel records for internal and legal compliance.
- Regularly review HR data for accuracy, consistency, and completeness through audits and quality checks.
- Contribute to special HR projects and other operational initiatives as needed.
Candidate profile
The role calls for someone with a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a closely related discipline, or equivalent practical experience. You should bring 2–4 years of experience in HR operations, HR generalist work, or a similar function, along with a strong understanding of U.S. employment law and HR compliance. Experience with HRIS platforms, especially Oracle HCM, and familiarity with applicant tracking systems will be helpful. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-focused, comfortable managing multiple priorities, and able to work confidently in a fast-moving environment. Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills are important, as is discretion when handling sensitive information. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is also expected.
Compensation
The base salary range for this Milpitas headquarters role is USD 70,000 to USD 85,000 per year. Final pay may vary based on factors such as experience, training, work history, location, business needs, and market conditions.
