Position Overview

A prominent international company specializing in energy and commodities trading is seeking a seasoned Oil Trader to join their expanding commercial team based in Singapore.

Primary Duties

• Expand and manage portfolios involving physical crude oil and/or refined petroleum products.
• Spot and capitalize on trading opportunities within regional and global markets.
• Establish and nurture strong partnerships with suppliers, clients, and significant market players.
• Continuously monitor market basics, price trends, and geopolitical factors to uncover commercial prospects.
• Oversee complete trade processes including contractual agreements, logistics coordination, and risk mitigation.
• Work closely with various internal teams to refine trading tactics and enhance profit margins.

Qualifications and Experience

• Demonstrated track record in trading physical crude oil and/or refined petroleum products.
• Exceptional commercial insight coupled with a robust network within the industry.
• Proficient in contract negotiation, freight and logistics management, as well as overall trade execution.
• Strong analytical capabilities, negotiation expertise, and stakeholder engagement skills.
