Job description
About the Role
NTU International is assembling a roster of qualified Non-Key Experts to support the project focused on communication outreach and engagement concerning EU policies in North Africa, the Middle East, and the Gulf over the next 36 months. This role entails providing strategic, technical, and logistical communication assistance to DG MENA to enhance the visibility, reach, and impact of the European Union’s policies, initiatives, and partnerships within these regions.
Key Responsibilities
- Track and review coverage of EU policies, initiatives, and partnerships across print, broadcast, online, and social media channels.
- Create consistent media monitoring reports, analytical briefings, and summaries.
- Examine media trends, public narratives, and stakeholder views throughout the Middle East, North Africa, and Gulf areas.
- Evaluate the effectiveness and reach of communication campaigns and related media efforts.
- Spot emerging challenges, risks, and opportunities affecting communication strategy.
- Provide communication teams with well-founded recommendations and insights based on media data.
- Utilize media monitoring and analytics platforms to gather, analyze, and present media information visually.
- Assist in strategic reporting and the planning of communication activities.
Qualifications and Skills
- Degree or equivalent qualification in media studies or communication.
- Proficiency in English language.
- Experience with media monitoring tools.
Experience
- A minimum of five years’ general experience in media analysis and monitoring.
- At least three years of focused experience in crafting media analysis reports.
