About the Role
We urgently require a skilled Mechanical Quality Control Inspector for a critical project. The professional will be responsible for inspecting and ensuring quality in mechanical systems, with a focus on piping networks and HVAC systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out inspections of incoming materials related to wet utilities.
- Inspect installation processes on-site for piping and HVAC/DCP systems.
- Verify adherence to project specifications, standards, and approved drawings.
- Oversee testing and commissioning of metallic and non-metallic piping systems.
- Detect any deviations from standards and ensure corrective measures are taken.
- Document all inspection findings and maintain detailed records and reports.
- Collaborate with QA/QC teams, consultants, and contractors to uphold quality standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- At least 6 years of relevant professional experience.
- Proficient with metallic and non-metallic piping systems, HVAC/DCP networks, and related mechanical testing and inspection procedures.
- Strong knowledge of quality control standards and inspection methodologies.
- Able to perform effectively in high-pressure, urgent project settings.
