HSE Supervisor

Job Overview

A prominent organization is looking for a knowledgeable HSE Supervisor to oversee Health, Safety, and Environmental operations on a comprehensive facilities management contract. This role demands managing compliance, devising safety strategies, conducting audits and investigations, and ensuring alignment with local laws and international standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute the project's HSE Management System.
• Maintain adherence to company, client, and statutory HSE regulations.
• Lead hazard identification and risk assessment initiatives.
• Investigate incidents and enforce corrective measures.
• Manage plans for emergency preparedness and responses.
• Ensure contractors comply with HSE standards.
• Conduct both internal and external HSE audits.
• Track key performance indicators and produce monthly HSE reports.
• Organize HSE training sessions and awareness programs.
• Engage with clients, consultants, and relevant authorities.
• Foster a pervasive safety culture throughout the project.

Minimum Qualifications

• Holder of a Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Management, or related field.
• Possession of NEBOSH International General Certificate (mandatory).
• Certified as ISO 45001 Internal or Lead Auditor.
• Certified as ISO 14001 Internal or Lead Auditor.
• Formal training in risk assessment, incident investigation, emergency response, fire safety, and permit to work systems.

Experience

• At least 8 years of relevant experience in health, safety, and environment.
• Minimum 3 years serving in a supervisory or managerial HSE role.
• Experience desired in facilities management, industrial operations, logistics, warehousing, food storage, port operations, or other high-risk operational sectors.
