Housekeeping Coordinator - Hotel Cleanliness Expert

Position Overview

As a Housekeeping Coordinator at The Ritz-Carlton in Doha, you will play a key role in managing and coordinating the daily housekeeping operations to maintain high cleanliness standards. This includes prioritizing room cleaning, verifying room statuses, and acting as a communication link between Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry departments.

Primary Duties

• Generate sold room reports and confirm room statuses.
• Identify and address discrepancies in room conditions.
• Prioritize and assign cleaning tasks to ensure timely preparation of guest rooms.
• Collaborate closely with front desk staff to resolve any room-related issues.
• Manage lists such as ‘Do Not Disturb’ and assign tasks for these rooms appropriately.
• Complete necessary housekeeping documentation and paperwork.

• Adhere to all company policies, including safety and security protocols; report hazards or accidents promptly.
• Maintain professional appearance and confidentiality concerning company information.
• Engage guests warmly according to company standards, anticipating and fulfilling service requests.
• Develop cooperative relationships with team members to support shared objectives.
• Communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing.
• Work efficiently with computer systems for logging and retrieving job-related data.
• Handle physical tasks such as standing, walking for extended periods, and moving objects up to 10 pounds.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least one year of relevant housekeeping or hospitality experience.
• No prior supervisory experience required.
• No special licenses or certifications necessary.
