Primary Responsibilities

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science mandatory
• 6–8 years of relevant experience in environmental assessment or consulting, preferably in mining or hydroelectric projects
• Proven field experience with endangered species studies, wetland delineation, and impact assessments
• Familiarity with specialized statistical and analytical software for environmental data
• Understanding of applicable federal, provincial, and local environmental laws and workplace safety standards
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license and physical capability for demanding fieldwork including overnight travel
• Must successfully clear medical and substance tests
• Language proficiency aligned with operational requirements
• Registration eligibility as a Biologist in Training and potential professional registration required regionally

Preferred and Additional Qualifications

• Master’s degree in environmental sciences or related biological disciplines considered an asset
