Catering Services Worker

Role Overview

The Catering Services Worker plays a vital role in supporting the event operations team to ensure the smooth execution of catering orders and functions at the venue. This position involves setting up event spaces, transporting supplies and equipment, serving guests, and assisting with post-event cleanup.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Arrange catering and event setups in line with client specifications and banquet event orders.
• Transport and deliver food, beverages, and essential equipment to the event location.
• Prepare event spaces by setting up chairs, tables, buffet lines, and any necessary equipment.
• Continuously replenish food and beverage items during events to maintain service quality.
• Keep food service areas tidy and presentable throughout events.
• Collect and clean up food and beverage items after service concludes.
• Dismantle and clean event areas after completion, ensuring equipment is stored appropriately.
• Deliver outstanding customer service to all attendees during events.
• Adhere strictly to all safety guidelines and protocols.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Prior experience in customer service is preferred.
• Previous experience in catering services is advantageous.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Compliance with company dress code requirements.
• Availability to work flexible, event-based schedules.
• Willingness and ability to complete required Food Handling and Alcohol Service training.

Physical and Additional Requirements

• The role involves physical activities such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and prolonged standing or walking.
• Wearing uniforms and/or personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required.
